Former Singaporean Foreign Minister Remarks on Cambodia's Rapid Development

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Manet met with former Singaporean Foreign Minister George Yeo this morning at the Peace Palace.

Mr. Yeo expressed his pleasure at visiting Cambodia for the second time and noted the rapid development in all areas of Cambodia.

He informed the Prime Minister of his interest in learning more about the potential of investment and other sectors in Cambodia, especially human resource training, while also offering to give lectures at the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations for Cambodia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In response, the PM encouraged his efforts and welcomed his expertise at the National Institute. He also thanked Mr. Yeo for supporting Cambodia's role in the international arena in the past and outlined the policies and priorities of the Royal Government of Cambodia for his first term.
